2024 IPL Schedule
The 2024 IPL is going to be the 17th edition of the tournament. Fans are waiting for the game to start but the official Indian Premier League Schedule 2024 is not yet announced by BCCI. But it is expected that the 2024 IPL First Match will be on 22 March 2024 and the 2024 IPL First Match venue will be Narendra Modi Stadium. Check out the IPL 2024 Match List given below.

IPL Format 2024
According to the IPL format 2024, all the teams are divided into 2 groups of 5 teams in each group. All the teams play 2 matches with each of the teams in the opponent group and 1 match each with the 4 teams in its group. That means each team will be playing a total of 14 matches (7 home and 7 away).
After the group stage is over the top 4 teams in the Tata IPL Points Table 2024 will be promoted to the Playoffs. The top two teams play Qualifier 1 and the 3 and 4 placed teams in the IPL Table 2024 play the Eliminator Round.
The Winner of the Qualifier 1 goes directly to the final but the loser of this round gets another chance to play and get themselves qualified for the final by playing a match with the winner of the Eliminator round in the Qualifier 2 round. The winner of the Qualifier 2 advances to play the final round with the first finalist.
New Rules in IPL 2024
A new rule has been introduced in the Indian Premier League 2024 that is from this season 2 bouncers will be allowed per over.
