2024 UEFA EURO
The 2024 UEFA EURO league is a Men’s football tournament that is organized by the Union of European Association (UEFA) and is held after every 4 years. It was first started on 1971.It is also the most watch football event across the globe after FIFA World Cup. 24 teams participate in this tournament. The 17th edition of EURO league will be held in Germany (also the winner of 3 titles).
UEFA EURO Format
Format of this game includes 2 rounds, i.e.; Group Stage, Knockout Stage (Round of 16, Quarter-final, Semi-final and Final).
Group Stage: Group Stage is where all the 24 teams play 3 matches each in their respective groups, means there will be 36 matches in the group stage. Winners and runners-up from each group along with the best four-third placed teams advance to the Round of 16.
Round of 16: As the name suggests 16 qualified teams play the round of 16. This stage includes 8 matches. Out of 16 teams 8 teams advance to the quarter-final.
Quarter-final: 8 teams who have qualified the round of 16 play the quarter-final. This stage includes 4 matches. And 4 teams those who qualify this round goes to the Semi-final.
Semi Final: 4 teams that have qualified the quarter-final play the semi-final, which includes 2 matches.
Final: 2 winning teams from semi-final play the final. And the winner is the winner of that EURO season.
