Indian Domestic Football Calendar 2024-25: The governing body of Football in India, the AIFF on 6 February 2024 has made the Indian Football Calendar 2024-25 official. They have disclosed the dates of all the major football events for the 2024-25 season namely Durand Cup, I- League (I- League, I- League 2 and I- League 3), Youth Leagues (U13, U15, U17), ISL, Indian Women League (IWL, IWL 2), Santosh Trophy, AIFF Men’s Futsal Club Championship and the National State Tournaments. The first event of the year is going to the Durand Cup 2024, starting from 26 July 2024.
In addition the AIFF has also declared that there will be 9 months long football event is dedicated to the Youth Categories (U-13, U-15 and U-17). The main objective behind this extended period is to provide the junior category players with more facilities and opportunities to improve the performance. Indian Domestic Football Calendar 2024-25
The All India Football Federation has announced the Indian Domestic Football Calendar 2024-25 season. As the mentioned dates the Indian Super League 2024-25, Super Cup 2024-25, I-League 2024-25 and the IWL 2024-25 will be played simultaneously. Both I- League and IWL was have a duration of 6 months each and on the other hand the Super Cup will have a duration of 8 months.
This is for the first time that Indian Women League 2024-25 will be played in such a long duration. As the longer duration will held the Women Football players to improve there skills and grow more.

1. Durand Cup 2024-25
The first event in the calendar is Durand Cup 2024. The Durand Cup is also the older domestic football competition in India that started back in 1888. The Durand Cup 2024 will begin from 26 July till 31 August 2024. This is going to be the 133th edition of Durand Cup. The Durand Cup 2023 Winner was Mohun Bagan.
2. Indian Super League 2024-25
The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 scheduled date is 14 September 2024, just after the conclusion of Durand Cup 2024. And will end on 30 April 2025. This will be the 11th edition of the tournament.
3. Super Cup India 2024-25
The Super Cup India will start from 1 October, 2024, with some changes in the format. The event will end on 15 May, 2025. This time the game will a get a duration of 6 months.
4. I- League 2024-25 (I- League, I- League 2, I- League 3)
The I- League is a Indian domestic 2-tier football competition for men that started back in 2007. The tournament has 3 parts, they are I- League, I- League 2, I- League-3.
I- League
The I-League 2024-25 will kick-off from 19 October 2024 till 30 April 2025. Like previous editions this season will also be full of intense matches as the winning team get promoted to the Indian Super League (ISL). The first ever team to get promotion to the ISL from I-League was Punjab FC, by winning the I-League 2022-23. And the current champion is RoundGlass Punjab.
I- League 2
The I- League 2 is the 3-tier football competition for men, after the I- League. It first started in 2008 and the number of teams is 8. Winner of the I-League 2 gets a promotion to the I- League and the last placed teams of I-League is relegated to I-League 2.
I- League 3
The I-League 3 is a 4-tier football competition for men, after the I- League 2. It was first played on 2023. Winner of this league gets promoted to the I- League 3 and the bottom placed team of I-League 2 is relegated to the I- League 3.
5. Indian Women’s League (IWL, IWL 2)
The Indian Women’ s League for the first time will be held in a duration of 6 months. This is because the longer duration will bring lot of opportunities for the Women footballers to grow there skills and performance. This League has also contributed in growing the popularity of Women football in India. The Indian Women’s League (IWL) is has two parts, there are the IWL and the IWL.
IWL
The IWL will start on 25 Oct 2024 and will end on 30 April 2025. This event was first started on 2016 and is a gateway to the AFC Women’s Club Championship. The current Champions is Gokulam Kerala, who have also won the trophy 3 times.
IWL 2
The IWL 2 is the second Indian football event for Women that started 1 year ago in 2023. The winner of the IWL 2 gets a promotion to the IWL.
6. National State Tournaments
The national state tournaments include the Youth Events (U13, U15, U17), Junior Boys and Junior Girls (Tier 1 and Tier 2), Sub-Junior Boys and Sub-Junior Girls (Tier 1 and Tier 2), Senior Women’s National Football Championship (Group and Final Stage), Santosh Trophy (Group and Final Stage) and the AIFF AIFF Men’s Futsal Club Championship.
