Tuem from Goa and SAG FA from Gujarat placed in Group C managed to secured a place in the finals of IWL 2 even before completing their scheduled 4 matches on 28 March 2024.

Tuem and SAG FA Have Qualified For The IWL 2 Final Round
The group stage matches of the IWL 2 are almost over, and qualified teams are heading towards the final round. Group C group stage matches will end on 30 March 2024. From Group C, two teams with maximum wining points have been qualified for the IWL 2 final round i.e., SAG FA and Tuem.
Both the teams played exceptionally well, as none lost a single match in the group stage. Both the teams have the same points, i.e., 9. But Tuem is in the first position as the team has more GD points than the SAG FA. We have provided some details about the teams below, check out.
1. FC Tuem | Goa
FC Tuem is a women football team from Pernem in Goa. It was founded in 2013. In 2024, they played their debut match in IWL 2.
From Goa, Women Football Club Tuem is participating in IWL 2 – second tier of Indian Women’s League. In the IWL 2 group stage, they did very well and managed to secured the top position in the points table making a way to the final round of IWL 2.
2. SAG FA | Gujarat
SAG Football Academy from Gujarat was nominated to the 1st edition of IWL 2. It was founded on 7 June 2016. SAG stands for Sports Authority of Gujarat. Details about the SAG football team is not available, their debut match in the ongoing IWL 2 is appreciable.
The AIFF nominated the SAG FA to the IWL 2 women football tournament. They performed very well in the group stage and managed to secured a place in the IWL 2 final round.
