Fastest Century in IPL History
The first player on the list is Chris Gayle. He scored his first fastest century in 2011, and the total number of balls required was 46. The second time he scored the quickest century was in 2013 off 30 balls. That was also the fastest 100 in the history of the IPL.
The second name in the list is Yusuf Pathan. He scored his first fastest century in 2010, playing for Rajasthan Royals. He scored the century in 37 balls.

He is the only player whose name comes twice in the list of top 10 fastest-century scorers in IPL. The first time, he scored a century was in 2011 off 46 balls. And the second time, he scored a century was in 2013 off 30 balls.
He is currently no a part of the Indian Premier League as he has taken retirement from all forms of cricket. The last IPL match he played was in 2021.
2. Yusuf Pathan (KKR vs Mumbai, 2010)

The second player to score the fastest century is Yusuf Pathan. He scored 100 off 37 balls in that particular match against Mumbai Indians in 2010. It included 8 sixes and 9 fours. He was playing for the Rajasthan Royals.
However that was lost by Rajasthan Royals for 4 runs but Pathan’s batting performance won every one’s heart.
He is also not a part of Indian Premier League as he has taken retirement from all forms of cricket. And the last match he played was in 2019.
3. David Miller (SRH vs RCB, 2013)

It was on 2013 in a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore when David Miller scored his faster century in IPL. He took 38 balls to reach the mark. And in the entire match he hits 7 sixes and 8 fours.
Currently he is playing for the Gujarat Giants team in IPL 2024.
4. Adam Gilchrist (DC vs MI, 2008)

Adam Gilchrist also known for the top-class wicket keeping in International Cricket, scored the fastest century in 2008 against Mumbai Indians. He reached 100 runs in 42 balls that included 9 fours and 10 sixes. That year he was playing for Deccan Chargers.
He has taken retirement from all forms of cricket. His last IPL match was in 2013.
5. Ab de Villiers (RCB vs GL, 2016)

The 5th player in the list is Ab de Villers, also known as Mr. 360. He scored his first fastest century in IPL history in 2016 against Gujarat Lions. And the number of balls he used was 43.
That match also saw a 226 run partnership between Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers. That match was won by the RCB team with a huge margin of 144 runs.
He is currently playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2024 IPL and is also the captain of the team.
6. David Warner ( SRH vs KKR, 2017)

David Warner back in 2017 scored his first fastest 100 off 43 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders. And by the end of the match his overall score was 126. His brilliant batting performance helped SRH to win the match.
He is currently playing for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024.
7. ST Jayasuriya (MII vs CSK, 2008)

Sanath Jayasuriya scored the fastest century in 45 back in 2008 in the 36th match of the season. He was playing for the Mumbai Indians team and he scored the century against Chennai Super Kings. By the end of the match his total runs were 114* off 48.
He is not part of the Indian Premier League since 2010.
8. Mayank Agarwal (KXIP vs RR, 2020)

The 8th name in the list is Mayank Agarwal. He scored 100 in just 45 balls in 2020 against a match with Rajasthan Royals. This was also his second fastest century in IPL.
