2023-24 IWL 2 Group A Matches
The first season of Indian Women’s League 2 has started on 22 March 2024. 15 teams are participating in the tournament and are divided into 3 groups of 5 teams. The matches for all the teams in the three groups will be organized in 3 venues (Group A- Kokrajhar, Assam Group B- Dum Dum, West Bengal and Group C- Mapusa, Goa).
The matches of the teams in Group A is being organized at the SAI Stadium, Kokrajhar, Assam. The matches have commenced on 23 March and conclude on 31 March 2024. Each day, two games will be organized. The first match at 9 AM and the second match at 3 PM.

IWL 2 Group A Match Venue
The Kokrajhar SAI Stadium, located in Kokrajhar, has a sitting capacity of 10,000. The stadium has also hosted prominent football tournaments in India, such as the Durand Cup (2023) and Santosh Trophy (2023-24 and 2022-23). In 2024, the stadium will also be hosting some matches of the Durand Cup.
This is the first time the IWL 2 2023-24 is being organized at the SAI Stadium, Kokrajhar
IWL 2 Format
The IWL 2 consists of 15 teams divided into 3 groups of 5. Each team in their respective group will play 1 match with the rest (each team will play 4 matches in the group stage). After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the Final round.
In the final round, the 6 teams will play matches in a single-leg-round-robin format. The two teams finishing at the top will be promoted to the Indian Women’s League.
